HR has been navigating a challenging and sometimes problematic workplace landscape for some years now. From Covid to racism, to workplace sexual harassment and bullying, and The Voice, HR Practitioners are seeking guidance and support during turbulent times.

During this evidence-based panel discussion, we will be exploring how HR can take aclearandcompassionateapproach to navigating the complexities of their workplaces where there is crisis, disagreement or difficulty, while also supportingleadersandcolleaguesto show up as the best version of themselves.

Our speakers will bring their experience and expertise to explainwhy trauma informed practice is the new benchmark for HRand discuss strategies for how HR practitioners can support themselves and their workforce in an environment which continues to place high demands on us all.

We are delighted to welcome three expert speakers who will share their insights on this important and emerging topic.

  • April Long, CEO of SMART Recovery Australia, First Nation’s person and LGBTQIA+ parent
  • Dr Phoebe Lau,Clinical Psychologist, Trauma informed practitioner and Founder of the Inner Collective
  • Katriina Tahka,CEO and Founder of A-HA, is a former Senior Counsel specialising in employee grievances including discrimination and harassment
