Unique Takes on Work and Workplaces

October 5 @ 11:30 AM-1:00 PMAEDT

Free - $20.00
NSW State Council Network
We listened to our AHRI members who want networks that build their networks, experiences, and expand on key topics.

Culture, strategy and organisational design were key parts of this – as was a growing development of commercial acumen and expertise.

Ultimately, as HR professionals in 2023 we need a well-honed skillset aligned to the AHRI Capability Framework, balanced with the right commercial, community and connected mindset to be the best HR professionals we can be.

Target Audience
HR Practitioners of all career levels and roles will benefit from attending this forum.

Speaker: James Hancock, Co-Founder and MD of MWAH, NSW State Councillor, AHRI Member
James joined (mwah) Making Work Absolutely Human in January 2018 working across Australia and the United States of America. He has worked with clients globally including Google, Mayo Clinic, GlaxoSmithKline, Paramount (Viacom CBS), and locally with almost every industry and organisation type across the Asia Pacific market.

He is passionate about understanding, mapping and measuring how people and organisations can create the most shared value – for customers, employees, economies and the communities and societies they are inextricably linked to.

James has strong expertise across organisational design and development, talent management, customer and employee centred design and ways of working (e.g., agile and scrum) gained from diverse HR, Strategy, Digital and Business Management roles – including on the often-misunderstood trading room floor of a bank.

In 2021, his work in the US was recognised as the 2021 SHRM HR Consultant of the Year in Philadelphia which he was honoured to win, and since returning to Australia in late 2022 he has recently been elected to serve on the NSW AHRI State Council.

James holds a Bachelor of Business (HR) and a Bachelor of Psychology from Macquarie University and is currently completing AHRI and Company Directors certifications.
