Matt is a Paralympic Gold Medalist who attended two Paralympic Games and the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in 2018. He was a member of the Australian Dolphins from 2008 to 2019 and still holds many Australian and World Records to this day.

After his retirement during COVID in 2020, Matt entered the Diversity & Inclusion sector holding roles in Local and State Government and at the ABC.

Today, he remains a regular contributor on airwaves of the ABC, is the Diversity & Inclusion Manager for AUSTSWIM, and a Board Director at Swimming Victoria.
