This means exploring how people who think in different ways can work well together, and how organisations can collect information about neurodiversity to create a culture where everyone feels they belong, and where people are very aware of each other’s special qualities.

Speaker: Kate Halpin (she/her), Director, Neurodiversity Consulting at Employ for Ability.
Kate Halpin (she/her) is a proud neurodiversity advocate and is the Director of Neurodiversity Consulting at Employ for Ability. Employ for Ability is a social impact organisation that is leading the way for empowering Neurodiversity inclusion in the workplace. Neurodivergent herself and with a decade of experience working within the neurodiversity space, Kate has forged a successful career and is a nationally recognised speaker on neurodiversity inclusion in the workplace. Kate is a passionate advocate and champion for change. Her expertise lies in guiding organisations to create systemic cultural change and to embed inclusive, strength-based strategies to support and embrace neurodivergent employees so that they can thrive in the workplace. Kate is adept at educating leaders and helping to build their capacity to understand and value the unique strengths neurodivergent employees possess and to remove any barriers via tailored support.
